Hi there,

I'm Huy-Liêm, the brains (maybe?) and tastebuds (definitely.) behind Khám Phá, a food company with a mission. I had two driving forces behind starting this business: my desire for delicious food, and a commitment to promoting inclusivity in the outdoor and sports industry.

I’m a normal person who loves running, camping, the occasional skiing, and the even more occasional mountain climbing. But if you asked me what I was, I would say, I am a gourmand. And as a gourmand, I’ve found that food for the outdoor industry often leaves a lot to be desired.

Growing up in a Franco-Vietnamese American household, I was fortunate to have a childhood blessed with wholesome and tasty Vietnamese and French food. Cảm ơn má!

From a young age though, I noticed the lack of representation of people of color in the outdoor industry. It became clear to me that inclusivity needed to be fostered, and I wanted to be part of the change. I envisioned breaking barriers and creating a space where everyone, regardless of their background, would feel welcomed and encouraged to embrace a healthy lifestyle in the outdoors.

Combining my love for the outdoors, my passion for food, and my drive for inclusivity, I founded Khám Phá. Our mission is to deliver Vietnamese-inspired flavors for outdoor adventurers. It's not just about the food; it's about celebrating our heritage and inspiring people from all walks of life to embark on their own outdoor adventures.
